About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Solutions Engineer with a passion for enabling enterprise transformation through modern DevOps practices and platform integration. This role focuses heavily on GitHub Enterprise Cloud (GHEC) and secure, scalable webhook integrations. The ideal candidate is a forward-thinking technologist with a strong grasp of CI/CD pipelines, API usage, and cross-platform development tools. You'll work closely with enterprise clients to design and implement custom technical solutions that optimize development workflows and data interoperability.
Key Responsibilities:
Partner with enterprise clients to assess business needs and translate them into robust GitHub Enterprise Cloud solutions
Design and implement secure webhook systems that enable real-time integration with third-party platforms
Provide strategic insight and guidance on GHEC migrations, API usage, and scaling best practices
Deliver technical presentations and demos to diverse audiences, both technical and business-focused
Collaborate across teams to troubleshoot critical issues, build proof-of-concepts, and drive adoption of modern DevOps solutions
Mentor client technical teams and internal stakeholders on best practices in platform architecture and integration
Stay current on GitHub roadmap updates, community contributions, and emerging integration patterns
Minimum Qualifications:
Strong passion for innovation, DevOps, and cloud-native solutions
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences
Ability to lead technical discussions and foster collaboration across teams
Fluent English oral and written communication
Flexibility to travel domestically and work with customers across varied industries and cultures
Required Product and Functional Skills:
GitHub Enterprise Cloud (GHEC) Expertise:
Deep understanding of repository management, organization-level settings, and enterprise configurations
Expertise in API rate limits, REST and GraphQL GitHub APIs, OAuth & GitHub App integrations
Hands-on experience with GHEC migrations and managing complex permission models
Familiarity with Actions, Codespaces, and policy enforcement workflows
Webhook Integration & System Design:
Proven ability to design, secure, and optimize webhook implementations for real-time communication
Experience with payload signature validation, event filtering, retry logic, and scalable queueing systems (e.g., Kafka, SQS)
Ability to visualize and debug data flow across systems and design alerting/monitoring strategies
Understanding of modern integration frameworks (e.g., Azure Event Grid, Zapier, custom middleware
