We are seeking a dynamic EMS Product Owner/Manager to drive the development of advanced control software for grid-scale energy storage systems. In this role, you ll lead cross-functional agile teams, ensure compliance with grid codes and standards, and align product development with customer needs and market demands.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with agile development teams to drive efficient and high-quality product delivery.

  • Translate customer requirements (CRs) and applicable standards into actionable development goals, balancing cost and development cycle time.

  • Analyze CRs, grid compliance protocols, and cybersecurity standards to inform the product roadmap and identify new project opportunities.

  • Convert requirements into detailed user stories, prioritize the product backlog, and validate deliverables for release readiness.

  • Oversee the creation and maintenance of all technical and commercial product documentation in collaboration with key stakeholders.

  • Support the sales and product management teams with technical demos, presentations, and customer engagements.

  • Lead the implementation of multi-generational product plans by identifying evolving market needs and competitive trends.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor s degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, or a related field.

  • 5+ years of engineering experience in utility-scale electrical power systems.

  • 2+ years of experience as a Product Owner in an Agile development environment.

  • Solid understanding of grid-following and grid-forming control applications.

  • Familiarity with ISO and transmission operator technical requirements.

  • In-depth knowledge of grid interconnection agreements and compliance processes.

  • Strong analytical skills and a proven ability to solve complex engineering problems.

  • Experience reviewing contracts and technical documentation for compliance and feasibility.

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and effectively.
