A global leader in energy management and automation is actively seeking a detail-oriented Manufacturing Technician-Engineer to join their team. This is a 7-month contract with potential for conversion, and is a Monday-Friday 1st shift role located in Lexington, KY.

- Bachelor of Science Degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or similar.
- 3+ years of experience in manufacturing and/or process engineering.
- Experience with component replenishment / kanban / related material handling tasks.
- Experience in a new product development environment or related stage gate process awareness.
- Knowledge of verification and validation process / approvals process for new product development.
- Experience in SAP production software.
- Participate in the process and manufacturing teams to implement the NAM.
- Conduct research and studies on which sustainable packaging products are best suited for implementation at the local site, including coordinating formalized testing at laboratories.
- Coordinate with manufacturing, process, SCH, procurement etc. on implementing new sustainable materials.
- Conduct 3F and assist with FAIR reporting.
- Assist with reporting to PP/PS Sustainability team on project updates and completions.
- Conduct financial impacts per project, including cost analysis, cycle time analysis, etc.
