TEKsystems is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented PC Support Technician to join their client's team to complete deployment and PC refresh projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Locate and manage laptops for deployment.
- Track down and schedule appointments with end users who may be working remotely or in different locations.
- Meet with end users to determine their application needs and create computer image with necessary applications.
- Perform laptop and desktop refresh tasks, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Provide on-site technical support to staff, ensuring minimal disruption to their workflow.
- Maintain accurate records of equipment inventory and service requests.
- Collaborate with IT team members to resolve technical issues promptly.
- Provide excellent customer service throughout the deployment process.
Skills and Qualifications:
- 6+ months of experience in a technical support position, with emphasis on hands on, hardware support experience.
- Experience imaging devices and completing data transfers for users in Windows OS.
- Strong customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with staff.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
- Self-motivated and driven, with the ability to work independently.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Familiarity with the ServiceNow platform a plus.
- CompTIA A+ certified a plus.
