As an ETL Developer you will play a pivotal role in managing the Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) processes of data. Key Responsibilities:
- Data Extraction: Identify and extract data from diverse sources, including Electronic Health Records (EHRs), claims data, and other healthcare systems.
- Data Transformation: Clean, standardize, and transform data into a suitable format for analysis, often involving conversions between data formats like HL7 v2 and FHIR.
- Data Loading: Load the transformed data into target databases or data warehouses for storage and retrieval.
- Data Pipeline Development: Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines that facilitate the ETL process.
- Data Quality Assurance: Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of data through rigorous testing and validation.
- Data Model Development: Contribute to the design and implementation of data models within the data warehouse.
- Performance Optimization: Optimize ETL processes to ensure efficient data loading and retrieval.
- Collaboration: Work closely with data analysts, business users, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and address technical issues.
Skills Required:
- Programming Languages: Proficiency in SQL and Python
- ETL Tools: Experience with tools such as Informatica, Talend, SSIS, AWS Glue, and others.
- Database Technologies: Knowledge of Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and other database technologies.
- Data Modeling: Strong understanding of data modeling principles and data warehousing concepts.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
