We are seeking a DevOps Engineer to join our team in Milwaukee, WI!
Key Responsibilities:
  • AWS Environments: Plan, deploy, and maintain critical business applications in both production and non-production AWS environments.
  • Environment Design: Design and implement appropriate environments, engineer release management procedures, and provide production support.
  • Cloud Adoption: Influence other teams and broader engineering groups to adopt cloud technologies, processes, and best practices.
  • Standard Operating Procedures: Work with DevOps leaders to define and align on standard operating procedures and best practices.
  • Automation: Automate the provisioning of environments using Ansible, Packer, and Terraform.
  • Deployment Pipelines: Create application deployment pipelines with GitLab CI, Jenkins, and Helm.
  • Data Availability: Design and implement strategies to ensure all platform data is highly available and replicated.
  • Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot problems, involving appropriate resources and driving resolution with a focus on minimizing customer impact.
  • Agile DevOps: Participate in the Agile DevOps design, development, testing, and release of new capabilities and features, focusing on release and post-production support.
  • Process Improvement: Drive improvements to processes and design enhancements to automation to continuously improve the production environment.
  • Security: Work with Risk Management and Compliance teams to ensure target services are hardened and secure.
  • Issue Remediation: Identify recurring issues and work with Technology and Business partners to remediate using leading industry processes.

Frequent Technologies Used:
  • AWS, Ansible, Docker, GitLab, Jenkins, Kubernetes, and Linux Shell Scripting.

Skills Required:
  • DevOps Expertise: Strong knowledge of DevOps practices and tools.
  • AWS: Experience with AWS.
  • Automation: Experience in automated delivery and developing automation workflows and routines.
  • Infrastructure Design: Experience in infrastructure design, implementation, and delivery.
  • Containerization: Experience in containerizing applications with Docker and deploying them to Kubernetes.
  • Programming: Programming experience with automation or development in Python, Ruby, or equivalent.
  • Open-Source Tools: Experience with open-source tools such as Ansible, GitLab CI, Helm, Jenkins, and Terraform.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $65.00/hr.
