We are looking for motivated interns to join our team as MG Editor Interns, helping to prepare manuscripts for publication. This is a fantastic opportunity to work remotely and develop your editorial skills while contributing to the growing MG literary scene.
Responsibilities:
Review and edit manuscripts, focusing on grammar, punctuation, and clarity.
Provide feedback on character development, plot structure, pacing, and voice.
Collaborate with authors to refine their stories while maintaining their unique voice.
Assist in proofreading final drafts before publication.
Stay up-to-date with trends in the MG genre and incorporate relevant insights into editorial feedback.
Coordinate with formatting teams to ensure manuscript consistency across print and digital formats.
Requirements:
A strong passion for MG literature and storytelling.
Excellent grammar, punctuation, and editing skills.
Ability to provide constructive feedback while maintaining the author’s vision.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
