MBS Pro Staffing is seeking an experienced Data Engineer for an onsite position in Cincinnati, Ohio. Please note that we are unable to provide sponsorship at this time.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines
- Develop and optimize complex SQL queries to support data analytics and reporting
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver reliable datasets
- Monitor data quality and performance of data systems
- Document processes and contribute to data engineering best practices
Required Qualifications:
- Proficiency in: Strong proficiency in SQL you write clean, efficient, and optimized queries
- FDIC experience (regulatory reporting/ calculation) required
- Experience with data warehousing concepts and practices
- Familiarity with modern data stack tools
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- 8 years of experience in Data Engineering
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with: Experience with DBT (Data Build Tool)
- Experience with Snowflake or other cloud data warehouses
- Python or other scripting language for data manipulation
- Familiarity with version control (e.g., Git) and CI/CD workflows
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
- Advanced certifications or specialized training.
- Prior experience working in Finance/Banking
