Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Digital Shelf Solution Architect to design, integrate, and optimize technical solutions for managing product content across multiple digital shelf platforms, retailer portals, and syndication systems. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Product Information Management (PIM), Digital Asset Management (DAM), CMS, and syndication platforms like Salsify. This role requires strong data management, automation, troubleshooting, and compliance expertise to enhance digital shelf efficiency and ensure alignment with regulatory standards such as GDPR and CPRA/CCPA.
Key Responsibilities:
System Architecture & Integration:
- Design and implement scalable technical solutions for product content management across digital shelf platforms.
- Integrate PIM, DAM, CMS, and Syndication Systems (e.g., Salsify) for streamlined content flow.
- Manage data mapping and quality checks to ensure product accuracy across platforms.
Content Syndication & Automation:
- Develop and maintain automated workflows for syndicating product content to retailer websites.
- Monitor content accuracy and compliance with retailer guidelines.
- Implement data validation rules and error handling mechanisms to mitigate inconsistencies.
Technical Agile Practices & Compliance:
- Lead digital shelf technology strategy, ensuring alignment with industry trends and emerging technologies.
- Ensure compliance with CPRA/CCPA, GDPR, and other data privacy regulations.
- Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to align architectural designs with regulatory standards.
- Create and maintain architectural documentation, ensuring accuracy in system state.
Troubleshooting & Support:
- Identify and resolve technical issues related to content syndication, data mapping, and integrations.
- Provide technical support for stakeholders managing digital shelf-related tools.
Performance Monitoring & Optimization:
- Analyze digital shelf performance metrics to identify opportunities for optimization.
- Develop strategies to enhance content delivery and product discoverability across digital channels.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 10+ years of experience in solution architecture with a focus on digital platforms.
- 3-5+ years of hands-on expertise in digital shelf platforms, retailer APIs, and clean rooms.
- Deep knowledge of PIM, DAM, CMS systems like Aprimo, Stibo, and Sitecore.
- Experience managing syndication platforms such as Salsify and Syndigo.
- Familiarity with e-commerce platforms including Amazon Vendor Central, Shopify, etc.
- Expertise in data integration & management technologies with strong programming skills in Python, Java, .NET.
- Web technology proficiency including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React/Angular, REST APIs.
- Cloud ecosystem experience deploying solutions in Azure or AWS.
- Strong knowledge of data privacy laws (CPRA/CCPA, GDPR) and architectural implications.
- Expertise in MACH architectural approaches and web services (SOAP/REST, GraphQL).
- Experience with A/B testing, SEO, and analytics tagging for enhanced visibility.
- Leadership abilities to guide cross-functional teams and mentor developers.
