  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

We are seeking an experienced Power BI Developer to lead and support our migration from SAP BusinessObjects (BOBJ) to Power BI. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ad hoc report development, data modeling, and data visualization, along with hands-on experience working with Azure Synapse Analytics and modern data warehouse environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and execute the migration of reports and dashboards from SAP BusinessObjects (BOBJ) to Power BI, ensuring data accuracy and report fidelity.
  • Develop, optimize, and maintain Power BI datasets, reports, dashboards, and visualizations based on business requirements.
  • Recreate and enhance ad hoc reports from BOBJ in Power BI, ensuring seamless user adoption.
  • Work closely with business users and analysts to gather and validate reporting requirements.
  • Design and build robust data models and semantic layers in Power BI.
  • Collaborate with data engineering teams on Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Factory, and data warehouse solutions.
  • Implement row-level security, DAX calculations, and data refresh schedules in Power BI.
  • Participate in UAT and QA to validate migrated reports and dashboards.
  • Provide training and documentation to end users and support teams during and after migration.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in Business Intelligence and reporting, including at least 3 years in Power BI development.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP BusinessObjects (BOBJ) and a solid understanding of its reporting structure and tools.
  • Proven track record of successfully migrating BOBJ reports to Power BI.
  • Proficiency in Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, DAX, and Power Query (M).
  • Strong knowledge of data modeling, star/snowflake schemas, and ETL concepts.
  • Experience working with Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Factory, and enterprise data warehouses.
  • Experience creating ad hoc reports and self-service BI solutions for business users.
  • Familiarity with SQL and querying large datasets.
