Job Overview:
resource will be responsible for managing the TIBCO platforms and TIBCO migration to new, he will be managing Non-Prod and Prod systems. You will help to increase automation, ensure systems are reliable, scalable and proactively resolve issues. Resource will take an engineering approach to infrastructure and operations, solving business problems with software and automation, take ownership of the hosted infrastructure and ensuring that it meets the needs of the product with a particular focus on data security and resilience.
Responsibilities:
Serve as a TIBCO team member to design / install / deploy / administer Tibco BW 5.x, Tibco Admin, Hawk, EMS 8.x EMS Appliances and Tibco ADB Adapter using business works.
Able to analyze the BW code to resolve production issues, identify defects and able to apply the break fixes.
Partner with architecture team to drive platform alignment to modern architecture practices including migration of applications across the Data centers
Apply vulnerability patches for existing Tibco platforms.
Build automation for install and platform management activities, such as restarts, patching, and other scenarios.
3+ years experience in production support for web applications including troubleshooting and fixing production defects.
Requirements:
experience with Installation, configuration and administration of Tibco products (BW & EMS).
Experience in Data center migration and creating new environments and migrating existing TIBCO applications to newly build environments
experience with UNIX and LINUX operating systems, storage environments, file systems, and network protocols.
providing day to day support of all Tibco platform and provide 24*7 support on a rotational basis.
strong understanding of distributed systems using messaging platform
2+ years of creating great documentation that enables other team members to learn and execute platform engineering and management activities.
Core Competencies:
1+ years applying DevSecOps and Infrastructure as Code patterns to build automation. Able and ready to learn and support other Middleware technologies in support of Platform Engineering roadmap with DevSecOps, infrastructure-as-code, software defined engineering patterns, and use of GitHub or comparable code repository.
1+ years of experience with Ansible, Terraform, Puppet and other Infra automation technologies
Preferences:
Must be able to use Linux commands and tools to troubleshoot issues, parse and evaluate log files.
Experience with application profiling using tools such as Dynatrace, VisualVM or Jprofiler.
Experience with performance tuning for JVMs, web containers, DB connection pools, etc.
Possess a thorough understanding of modern work practices such as DevSecOps, Continuous Integration (CI), Continuous Delivery (CD), Agile project Delivery, Release Engineering.
