- Issues and receives recreational equipment to and from authorized patrons.
- Responsible for upholding customer service by operating and maintaining the Outdoor Recreation Front Desk in an orderly manner at all times, in assistance to and under direction from other Recreation Assistants/Specialist.
- Checks all outgoing and incoming equipment to ensure operationally and general condition.
- Notifies supervisor of any damage noted on returned equipment.
- Prepares receipts and documentation on pre-checkout briefings.
- Arranges equipment in displays and returns used equipment to specified storage areas.
- Prepares daily cashier reports and deposits. Computes rental fees from data on receipt and appropriate fee schedules.
- Performs on the spot minor maintenance (wet mopping, dusting, sweeping floors, and trash removal etc.)
- Fits customers with skis, boots, and poles.
