  1. Make sure the webpage is open.
  2. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose Safari > Preferences, then click Security.
  3. Make sure the Enable JavaScript checkbox is selected.
  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

  2. Click. then Settings.
  3. Click Privacy and Security.
  4. Click Site settings.
  5. Click JavaScript.
  6. Select Sites can use Javascript.

Our client is seeking a skilled PowerBuilder Consultant to support their operations at a Texas-based site running the PowerCerv application on a Sybase database. The ideal candidate should have a solid background in PowerBuilder development and experience supporting legacy systems. This role offers flexible work options, including part-time remote support or full-time onsite work for local Texas-based candidates.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide ongoing support and maintenance for the PowerCerv application developed in PowerBuilder
  • Troubleshoot and resolve application issues, working with Sybase database back-end
  • Assist in performance optimization, bug fixing, and feature enhancement as needed
  • Collaborate with business and technical teams to understand requirements and deliver reliable solutions
  • Document technical changes and provide knowledge transfer as needed

Required Qualifications:

  • Strong experience with PowerBuilder development
  • Hands-on experience with PowerCerv application is highly desirable
  • Proficiency with Sybase database and SQL
  • Ability to work independently and manage tasks in a legacy environment
  • Excellent communication and troubleshooting skills
