Job Description: Skills Required:
SAP Performance Engineering skills:
- SAP Workload Analysis & Profiling
- ABAP & HANA Query Optimization Techniques
- SAP Performance Monitoring TCodes
- System Bottleneck Identification & Troubleshooting
- Experience of Indexing & Partitioning Strategies
- Experience in HANA Memory Management & Query Execution Plan Analysis
- End-to-End Performance Debugging in SAP Landscapes
PT and PE skills:
- Expertise in Performance Testing & Engineering
- Proficiency in performance monitoring, profiling, and tuning (Tools - AppDynamics, Dynatrace, Splunk etc)
- Experience in Performance testing web-based applications, performance tuning, and load testing tools (Tools - LoadRunner, JMeter)
- Hands-on experience in workload modeling and system bottleneck analysis
Nice-to-Have:
- Experience with Agile or Scrum software development methodologies.
- Experience with Cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud Platform).
- Expertise in SAP BTP platform optimization and its components (API management, SAP Integration Suite, etc.).
- Knowledge of BTP technologies like Smart Data Integration (SDI) and SCP iOS SDK mobile app performance testing.
- Experience with application & database monitoring in SAP BTP using Kibana, HANA DB cockpit.
- Understanding of machine learning algorithms and O-Notation.
- Proficient in relational and in-memory databases.
- Code management experience using Git.
Responsibilities:
- Define, develop, and apply performance/scalability benchmarks.
- Work in cross-functional teams to characterize, debug, and improve system performance and scalability.
Use profiling tools to identify performance bottlenecks and conduct root cause analysis. - Devise and run experiments to evaluate the performance impacts of system changes.
- Plan and execute performance tests using automated environments, analyze results.
- Participate in architecture and design reviews, ensuring quality in cross-team engineering efforts. Must-Have Qualifications:
- 3+ years of hands-on software testing experience.
- Strong experience in performance testing of SAP applications.
- Proficiency in programming languages (Python, Perl, ABAP, Java, C++).
- Experience with performance testing tools (LoadRunner, JMeter, SoapUI, Postman).
- Knowledge of service-oriented architecture, RESTful APIs, and performance-tuning SQL queries.
- Extensive hands-on experience with JVM tuning techniques.
- Experience with performance monitoring tools (Dynatrace, AppDynamics).
- Ability to efficiently use profiling tools to identify bottlenecks.
Education / Experience:
- Bachelor s degree in mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a relevant field.
- Certifications like AWS Solutions Architect or Google Cloud Platform Associate Cloud Engineer are a plus.
