Technical Sales Rep
Join an innovative manufacturer that delivers top-tier signage solutions to critical sectors.
An industry-leading organization in the signage manufacturing space is seeking a driven Sales Representative to join their commercial team. With over four decades of experience, this company designs durable, cutting-edge signage solutions for nationally recognized clients in the transportation and retail fuel industries. Rooted in a culture of quality and technical excellence, they're known for partnering with major operators to develop and deploy high-impact visual solutions across the U.S.
This role is perfect for someone who combines strong commercial instincts with a hands-on understanding of technical product solutions-someone who thrives in a manufacturing environment and enjoys engaging decision-makers across a variety of business sizes.
The Opportunity
As a key member of the sales function, you'll take ownership of the full B2B sales cycle-from identifying and nurturing leads to finalizing high-value contracts. You'll work closely with both mid-sized and smaller fuel retailers, helping them implement impactful signage solutions that deliver ROI. You'll also act as a trusted partner during post-sale engagement, ensuring client satisfaction long after implementation.
You'll have regular customer interaction and play a visible role throughout each client's journey. This is not just about sales-it's about building long-term relationships through expertise, trust, and consistent delivery.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Proactively identifying and developing new business opportunities within the retail petroleum space, with a strong focus on lead generation, outreach, and territory growth.
- Managing the end-to-end sales process for technical signage products and related services.
Preparing tailored value propositions, ROI justifications, and pricing proposals.
Delivering compelling presentations that articulate product features and customer benefits.
Supporting implementation hand-offs and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders.
Tracking pipeline activity and customer data via CRM tools.
Attend industry exhibitions and client-facing functions to promote solutions and build rapport.
Enjoy a dynamic role that includes regular travel (50-70%) and opportunities to stay closely connected with the headquarters team
Your Background
We're looking for someone who brings a commercial mindset along with technical aptitude-comfortable discussing manufacturing specs, understanding product configurations, and addressing operational pain points with clarity.
Ideally, you bring:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical discipline.
At least 3 years of B2B experience, ideally in a manufacturing or technical sales environment.
Familiarity with CRM tools (NetSuite experience is a plus).
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
Confidence to work independently while contributing to broader team goals.
Willingness to travel regularly and work onsite when required.
What's In It for You
This is a chance to step into a high-impact role with real autonomy and growth potential. Alongside a market-aligned base salary, the compensation structure includes performance-based bonuses linked to gross margin, ensuring top performers are rewarded for results.
Additional benefits include:
Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance
401(k) with up to 6% match employer matching after 90 days
Paid mileage and travel support
Disability coverage
Strong internal support and a collaborative culture
This role requires you to be based in Colorado, ideally within reach of Colorado Springs, as in-office presence is expected approximately once per week. While your primary sales territory may vary depending on organizational needs and your background, you'll be actively engaging with clients across multiple regions.
