
Recreation Aid (Trainee-Lifeguard) NF-01
- This is a training position for a certified Lifeguard.
- Works under close supervision wherein the work is closely reviewed/monitored and detail guidance provided.
- Must participate in all required training, to include emergency rescue drills and action plan simulations. All certifications must be completed within 30 days of employment.
- In addition, for facilities using "O2 bottles," certification in Oxygen Administration (American Red Cross or equivalent) is required within two weeks of reporting to duty.

- Must be able to swim and participate in the lifeguard certifications.
- Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3, para.2. In addition, the incumbent may be subject to additional background checks if required to have regular and recurring contact with children.
- Fifteen (15) year old lifeguard trainees must comply with the restriction of the DOL Child Labors Law (Jan 17, 2006).

Must be able to swim and participate in the lifeguard certifications.
