This Expert Cybersecurity role is responsible for ServiceNow architecture across the Chief Security Office's ServiceNow implementations and will be responsible for the design of processes and workflows supporting these solutions. This role will be responsible for architectural unification across the organization and will work with our internal partners to develop solutions that minimize process redundancies across the company.

This expert is responsible for providing technical guidance to technical teams that support critical CSO information management solutions supporting ServiceNow's SecOps and GRC suite of applications. This position will have the mission of producing software designs and solutions to enhance CSO applications. The candidate must be a professional systems analyst/developer/architect and must be able to work with clients and users to analyze business problems, provide recommendations, design, develop, test, deploy, and sustain technical/automation solutions. The Expert Cybersecurity position is a technical lead responsible for design of complex security applications.

This position will work to:

  • Gather, analyze, and communicate security requirements, business needs, risk evaluations, and security constraints to determine the most effective way to enable and enhance security applications across security functions. Requirements may be provided by internal or external business organization; however, most tasks involve having the ability to think strategically across the program to drive synergies across products.
  • Implement security strategies and solutions to ensure conformance with corporate policies, industry trends, and business requirements. Each solution is planned, designed, implemented, and validated until requirement satisfaction is met. Tasks include new projects, product enhancements, defect resolution, and data analytics.
  • Evaluates new areas of security technology and vendor products used in support of security applications. Communicates, consults, and ensures conformance to architecture and standards. Provides risk evaluations to clients. This position delivers high level estimates and expert consultations for products and may be asked to deliver proof of concepts in support of the new tools.
  • Provides leadership in ServiceNow SecOps and GRC areas of focus as a subject matter expert for various technology areas and/or business functions. This position requires the ability to communicate on product or requirement impacts and assessments to leadership in order to determine alignment to future scope opportunities and quantify the needs that support the product roadmap.

Qualifications:

1) Minimum of ten years demonstrated experience in software development in one or more of the following the areas: database design/modeling, multilevel systems integration, web development, IT security, implementation strategies, information technology systems design and operation.

2) Architectural experience in ServiceNow implementations involving ServiceNow SecOps (vuln response, config compliance) and Governance Risk and Compliance (IRM, policy)

3) Experience utilizing a software development method that emphasizes business process analysis, collaboration (information sharing and web service usage), integration, automation, and measurement of success of developed solutions.

4) Demonstrated success managing the interdependence of software development, quality assurance, and requirements

5) Experience with configuration and integration desired within the following: ServiceNow SecOps (vuln response, config compliance) and Governance Risk and Compliance (IRM, policy)

6) Experience in scripting: Python, APIs

7) Experience with SQL Development, HTTP/HTTPS SOAP/REST development, JSON, and Java development experience

8) Experience with IP Network and security fundamentals as it relates to security or Network + Certification.

9) Experience and ability to lead projects, work individually on projects, as well as be a team player.
