Serves as a program specialist within assigned Army Child, Youth and School (CYS) Services Division. Helps to develop plans and operational materials for Army-wide implementation of child and youth programs. Provides administrative, logistical, and technology support in furtherance of the Directorate mission. Executes Directorate effort to provide technical assistance through training workshops, process action teams, on-site visits, and inspections. Assists in developing and communicating the strategic/key messages for CYS programs through the written/visual mediums (such as information and staff papers, slides, reports, flyers, and brochures). Develops contract specifications for program materials and services. Performs electronic file management and updates the professional resource library materials pertinent to the Directorate's mission. Assumes other duties as assigned to support Directorate operations.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS MUST BE CLEARLY VERIFIABLE IN YOUR RESUME. GOVERNMENT POSITIONS MUST INCLUDE PAY PLAN, SERIES, GRADE, TO AND FROM DATES, AND GOVERNMENT AGENCY/DEPARTMENT. Must include at least one year of experience performing duties at a level which equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities needed to perform successfully in the position.

Work experience directly related to the duties to be performed. Documented experience must have been equivalent in complexity and difficulty to the next lower grade/level to include the following:
1. Experience in child and youth program operations, interface with personnel, funding, social services proponents, and related community organizations.
2. Ability demonstrated through experience to evaluate established program standards and compliance with benchmark criteria and applicable policies and procedures.
3. Experience in planning and conducting training for child and youth staff.
4. Demonstrated ability to develop and present formal briefings, information papers, and slide presentations.
5. Proficiency in using Microsoft Office software such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
