Web3 Business Development & Partnerships Representative

Our Layer 1 blockchain client is rapidly expanding into their next phase of growth and they are building a team of stellar Business Development & Partnerships Representatives.
The team are creating a high-performance Layer-1 blockchain that offers vertically integrated services, including oracles, verifiable randomness (VRF), cross-chain communication and smart contract automation.
This all allows developers and businesses in the Web3 ecosystem to access fast, secure and reliable data while building Super dApps that are more efficient and scalable.
The Role
In this role, you will be responsible for building and priming a pipeline of Web3 projects and companies at early and growth stages integrating the suite of blockchain products.
Key Responsibilities
Foster and manage relationships with strategic parties including but not limited to L1/L2 ecosystems, builders, dapps, LST/LRT, asset managers
Generate leads and build a portfolio of companies through cold outreach, warm introductions, and prospecting
Plan go-to-market strategies
Drive technical discussions and product integrations by identifying pain points, needs, and benefits of vertically integrated stack
Deliver product feedback to internal product team to improve products, communicate market needs, inform new features with technical roadmap
Communicate with developer relations team to guide in-demand use-cases for developer content
Collaborate with marketing, growth, and events team members to plan and assist with conference side events, live and virtual webinars and hackathons
Role Requirements:
- Must have Web3 experience working in L1, L2, or other type of Web3 company.
- Able to identify and channel prime leads into opportunities
- Have an existing pipeline of Web3 projects in the GameFi and DeFi sector or related communities, e.g., DAOs, L1/L2 Foundations, VCs, etc.
- Be relentless in your pursuit of building your network of contacts in the blockchain space.
- Able to speak easily and effectively about Web3, blockchain across one or more core industry applications. Or at least make a brief introduction to the topic.
- Be willing to build up a rolodex of contacts and intros to products and handle the relationship lifecycle with minimal support from team.
