
Linux System Administrator
We are actively seeking a highly skilled Linux System Administrator with expertise in Pacemaker Cluster Management, multi-cloud administration, and Linux server environments (SUSE, Red Hat, CentOS, Ubuntu). This is an excellent opportunity for professionals experienced in high-availability (HA) environments and cloud integration, particularly with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and RedHat/OpenShift deployments.
Required Skills:
Linux System Administration:
Installation, configuration, and maintenance of Linux environments (SUSE, Red Hat, CentOS, Ubuntu).
Proficiency in system monitoring, tuning, patching, and security configuration.
Scripting with Bash, Python for automation.
Experience implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with tools like Terraform or Ansible.
Disaster recovery planning, data integrity enforcement, and backup management.
Security best practices and compliance (GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS).
Pacemaker Cluster Management:
Design, deployment, and support of HA Clusters using Pacemaker and Corosync.
Configuration of resource agents, constraints, and failover mechanisms.
Cluster monitoring, testing, and integration with DRBD, NFS, Apache, etc.
Multi-Cloud Administration:
Hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and AWS.
Cloud automation using Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
Integration of on-premise systems with cloud platforms.
MUST HAVE:
Complete end-to-end OCI deployment experience (not just as part of RedHat/OpenShift projects).
Solid understanding of Pacemaker and HA/DR cluster architectures.
Qualifying Questions:
Are you proficient in multiple Linux OS distributions (SUSE, Red Hat, CentOS, Ubuntu)?
Do you have strong experience with Pacemaker, Corosync, and resource agents?
Have you completed end-to-end deployment on OCI (Oracle Cloud Infrastructure)?
Are you experienced with automation tools like Ansible, Terraform, or Puppet?
Are you proficient in scripting with Bash and/or Python?
Do you understand networking, storage, and virtualization technologies?
Additional Responsibilities:
Process flow documentation and mentorship of client teams.
Author project deliverables and contribute to solution architecture.
Participate in data conversion/maintenance and provide best practice solutions.
Conduct knowledge transfer sessions and provide thought leadership.
