Position: SAP SuccessFactors Architect

Job Description:

The SAP SuccessFactors Architect will lead the strategy, architecture, and implementation of SAP SuccessFactors HCM solutions across public and private sector environments. This role demands a high level of functional and technical expertise in the SuccessFactors suite, along with strong leadership capabilities in solution design, integration, and stakeholder engagement.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience architecting and delivering scalable, secure, and user-centric SuccessFactors solutions, with in-depth knowledge across modules such as Employee Central, Recruiting Management, Performance & Goals, Compensation, Learning, and Succession Planning.

This position will play a critical role in driving digital transformation in HR functions, ensuring best practices in solution design, compliance with regulatory frameworks, and effective change management across diverse organizational landscapes.

Key Responsibilities:

Solution Architecture & Strategy

Define the overall SAP SuccessFactors HCM architecture and roadmap in alignment with organizational HR strategies.

Provide architectural leadership and oversight on cross-functional SuccessFactors implementations, ensuring scalability, flexibility, and long-term sustainability.

Lead design sessions and architectural reviews with IT, HR, and third-party vendors.

Public & Private Sector Expertise

Apply industry-specific knowledge to tailor SuccessFactors implementations to meet regulatory, compliance, and operational needs of both public and private sector entities.

Ensure security, data privacy, and reporting capabilities are compliant with sector-specific standards (e.g., FOIA, HIPAA, GDPR, etc.).

Implementation & Integration

Oversee end-to-end implementation, including requirements gathering, process reengineering, configuration, integration, testing, and deployment.

Lead integration efforts between SAP SuccessFactors and SAP ERP HCM, payroll systems, and other third-party HR/non-HR platforms.

Provide governance and ensure consistent architecture standards across projects.

Data & Analytics

Architect data models and reporting strategies for workforce analytics and insights.

Leverage HR data for predictive analytics and performance optimization.

Team Leadership & Change Enablement

Provide mentorship to functional analysts and consultants, driving best practices across teams.

Collaborate with HR leaders and change managers to ensure smooth transitions and end-user adoption.

Continuous Improvement & Innovation

Stay current with SAP roadmap, product updates, and industry trends.

Recommend and implement improvements to existing configurations and architecture based on business needs and technological advancements.

Qualifications:

Bachelor s or Master s degree in Information Technology, Business, or a related field.

10+ years of experience in SAP HCM/SuccessFactors, with at least 6+ years in an architect role.

Proven experience leading multiple full lifecycle implementations of SAP SuccessFactors in both public and private sector environments.

Deep functional and technical expertise across all core SuccessFactors modules.

Strong experience with SuccessFactors-SAP ERP integration, middleware tools (e.g., SAP CPI, Dell Boomi), and cloud architecture principles.

Exceptional communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.

Experience with HR analytics, dashboarding, and visualization tools (e.g., SAP Analytics Cloud) is a strong plus.

Certification(s) in SuccessFactors modules preferred.
