Job Title: BI Architect

Location: (Remote)

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Data Architect to lead the integration of Tableau with our BI TotalAccess application and evaluate our data lake readiness for Tableau.

Key Responsibilities:

Tableau Integration with BI Total Access:

• Analyze and comprehend the current architecture of the BI Total Access application, particularly its integration with Crystal Reports.
• Implement necessary modifications to facilitate seamless Tableau integration within the BI Total Access framework.

Data Lake Readiness Evaluation for Tableau:

• Assess the existing data environment, including on-premises SQL Server and AWS S3 storage solutions.
• Review data sources, ingestion processes, pipelines, transformations, and governance protocols.
• Evaluate the current data migration strategy to AWS and its alignment with organizational goals.
• Develop a comprehensive blueprint for data lake creation, ensuring alignment with BI modernization efforts and providing detailed effort estimations.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Data Architect or in a similar role, with a focus on business intelligence and data integration.
• In-depth understanding of database structures, principles, and best practices.
• Hands-on experience with Tableau, Crystal Reports, and BI application integrations.
• Familiarity with SQL Server (on-premises) and AWS S3 storage solutions.
• Strong knowledge of data ingestion processes, ETL pipelines, data transformations, and data governance.
• Experience in developing data migration strategies to cloud platforms, particularly AWS.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex data environments and propose effective solutions.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with other BI tools (Tableau) and platforms.
• Knowledge of data lake architectures and best practices.
• Certifications in AWS or related technologies.
