Job Overview

As the Sr. Product Owner, you will play a pivotal role in driving product excellence by aligning the development team s efforts with business goals and customer needs. You ll be responsible for defining the product features supporting the roadmap, managing the product backlog, and ensuring that we deliver valuable features to our users in a timely and efficient manner. In this highly collaborative role, you will work closely with stakeholders, the development team, and UX Designers to bring product vision to life while maintaining a user-centered approach.

You ll ensure that the development team is always working on the most impactful features, that the product backlog is continuously refined, and that the product is aligned with our overall business strategy. Your ability to balance customer needs, technical requirements, and business goals will be critical to your success.

The ideal candidate will thrive in close collaboration with product, data, and science teams and will help to promote learning, effective working relationships, and ultimately highly efficient product development.

Essential Functions:

As the Sr. Product Owner you will play a pivotal role in driving product excellence by aligning the development team s efforts with business goals and customer needs. Required Education and Experience:

  • 7+ years of experience as a Product Owner, specifically managing technology-driven products within a SaaS company or similar environment.
  • Proven experience in product ownership role, backlog prioritization, user story creation, and working closely with development teams.
  • Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies and product management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence).
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and articulate the product vision to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience collaborating with UX Designers and other product teams to create customer-centric solutions.

We are looking for candidates who live near the Baltimore MD area and would be willing to come into the office at least 2 days/week.

This is a full-time permanent employee position working directly for our client. The salary for this position can be up to $150,000/yr. plus up to 20% bonus.
