  • Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with Army Regulation 215-3.
  • This position requires a favorably adjudicated T1/NACI background investigation.
  • An employer referred pre-employment physical examination is required.
  • Must be physically able to stand for long periods of time, regularly lift and carry items up to 10lbs, and occasionally lift and carry items up to 20lbs.
  • Management reserves the right to reassign employees to other facilities.
  • Work schedule will be irregular. The incumbent will be required to work, nights, weekends, holidays, and/or unique events.

Qualifications

Qualified candidates will possess the following:
  • ability to lead the work of other barista staff, AND
  • math skills necessary to calculate patron bills and inventory, AND
  • skill in mixing and serving the full range of coffee beverages and other specialty non-alcoholic drinks, AND
  • experience utilizing a commercial espresso machine (must be supported in your resume), AND
  • ability to cross train and monitor the work of other staff.

FWS Allowances and Differentials

  • This is a federal wage schedule (FWS) position.
  • All FWS employees are entitled to overtime work for work in excess of 8 hours in a day or in excess of 40 hours in the administrative workweek, whichever provides the greater benefit to the employee.
  • Regular full-time, regular part-time (to include those in a limited tenure appointment category) and regularly scheduled flexible employees are entitled to Sunday premium pay when working Sunday shifts.
  • A FWS employee will be paid a night shift differential of 7.5% for the entire shift when a majority of the employee's regularly scheduled non-overtime hours of work occur between the hours of 1500 and 2400. A FWS employee will be paid a night shift differential of 10% of the scheduled rate if a majority of the employee's regularly scheduled non-overtime hours of work occur between the hours of 2300-0800.
Incentives and Bonuses
Incentives will not be paid.

Non-Foreign Overseas Allowances
Non-foreign overseas allowances, cost of living (COLA), and differentials will NOT be paid.
