Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze business goals and technical requirements to define cloud architecture strategies.
- Design and architect secure, scalable, and cost-efficient cloud solutions (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, etc.).
- Collaborate with stakeholders including product owners, developers, DevOps, and business leaders to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Lead cloud architecture design sessions, contributing to high-level decision-making on infrastructure, platforms, data flow, security, and integrations.
- Ensure cloud architecture adheres to enterprise standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices.
- Guide development teams throughout the solution lifecycle, from prototyping to deployment and performance optimization.
- Perform cost-benefit analysis of cloud solutions and recommend optimizations to reduce cloud spend.
- Stay up to date with emerging cloud technologies and industry trends, evaluating and integrating new tools where appropriate.
- Create architectural documentation, including diagrams, roadmaps, and policies.
- Provide mentorship to technical teams and promote a cloud-first mindset across the organization.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in architecting and delivering enterprise-level cloud solutions.
- Strong understanding of cloud platforms (especially AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform).
- Experience with cloud-native technologies: containers (Docker, Kubernetes), serverless, CI/CD pipelines.
- In-depth knowledge of networking, security, identity & access management (IAM), and data governance in cloud environments.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Familiarity with infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.).
- Solid understanding of DevOps practices and how they support cloud delivery.
- Experience in migrating on-premises applications to the cloud.
