Overview:
CMK is on the hunt for a highly skilled and proactive Senior IT Solutions Engineer I to lead the charge in enhancing our digital ecosystem. Stationed full-time at our vibrant Austin headquarters, this role will serve as a vital bridge between technology and business operations, working hand-in-hand with teams across IT Operations, HR, Cybersecurity, Software Products, and Data Strategy.
We re seeking a dynamic problem-solver with the technical expertise to streamline complex systems and the strategic vision to architect and implement transformative IT solutions. You ll play a pivotal role in evolving our enterprise infrastructure especially in the domains of business intelligence and ERP within a high-energy, startup-style environment.
What You ll Do:
Design and deploy automation strategies that optimize workflows across departments.
Support and enhance technical management of core business applications and digital tools.
Serve as a senior technical advisor, driving maturity in enterprise systems and guiding integration of new technologies.
Develop and maintain robust integrations using APIs across diverse platforms and SaaS applications.
Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for vital tools in business operations, IT, and cybersecurity.
Assist the IT Operations team with complex Tier 3 escalations when needed.
Create and maintain a well-documented internal knowledge base (runbooks, user guides, tech SOPs).
Mentor and upskill team members, fostering cross-functional tech collaboration across the company.
Occasionally support general IT functions as part of a collaborative all-hands culture.
What You Bring:
8+ years in IT Engineering, Senior Systems Administration, or equivalent technical experience.
Hands-on experience with REST API integrations.
Expertise in low-code/no-code platforms (Okta Advanced Workflows, Zapier, Workato, etc.).
Proficiency in Python (especially for web requests and JSON data handling).
Deep familiarity with modern enterprise software stacks (GWS, Microsoft Suite, IAM, HRIS, ERP systems, etc.).
Demonstrated history of delivering innovative technical solutions that drive business efficiency.
Strong background with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence).
A proactive mindset and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving tech environment.
Bonus Points For:
Background in software engineering.
Experience with ERP platforms like NetSuite.
Familiarity with Amazon Web Services (AWS) infrastructure.
Exposure to Palantir Foundry.
Experience in multiple programming languages (Node.js, Java, JavaScript).
Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools (CI/CD, GitHub, Jenkins, Terraform, etc.).
Understanding of cybersecurity compliance frameworks (ISO27001, FedRAMP, etc.).
Experience managing enterprise-level networking (DNS, DHCP, IPSEC, SSL, etc.).
Advanced scripting for macOS and Windows environments.
Linux system administration experience, particularly for endpoint support.
