Title: Technology Lead

Location: Austin, TX (Remote)

Description:

This individual will serve as Technology Lead responsible for systems analysis, specifications development, data model designs, and testing of system interfaces between several business applications. Knowledge of API development services SOAP, REST, XML, and JSON for data exchange, expert level SQL scripting. Work with software engineering tools such as Git, JIRA, Confluence, ALM-Octane, etc. Plan and lead meetings. Work closely with project team. Provide technical assistance to Project Managers by documenting plans, schedules, status reports, and/or change requests. Provide detailed updates to Project Managers or other stakeholders. Perform other duties as assigned to maintain operations.

Required Skills:

12 Years of Proficiency in languages like Java, C#, and Python

8 Years of Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) principles, practices and techniques of application programming and software design

8 Years of Ability to accurately test software applications using a data driven development approach

8 Years of API Development; creating and managing APIs to enable data exchange and application communications

8 Years of Skill in solving problems; in scheduling, testing, installing, and implementing programs; and in trouble shooting computer software systems

8 Years of Strong written and verbal communication skills to serve as a technical consultant to peers, clearly and accurately document relevant issues, and prepare accurate, concise, reliable reports

8 Years of Experience with integrating web services across cloud platforms, Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services, Github, and Platform as a Service (PaaS) environment. Experience with Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) tools for data integration

8 Years of SQL Programming including familiarity with PostgreSQL, MongoDB no SQL, Sybase, Oracle PL/SQL, and Azure SQL managed instances for database technology management
