THE OPPORTUNITY

As the Senior Analyst, Data Platforming Engineering, you will be an active participant and driver in ensuring our platform and infrastructure continue to mature and evolve to support current and future data initiatives, security and reliability. Responsibilities include ensuring our platforms adhere to our Data Governance, Data Security and access standards. Additionally, you will help drive our Customer Data Platform strategy and implementation through thought leadership and platform instantiation. Your experience and thought leadership will be able to make a direct impact as we modernize the way we deploy, maintain and scale our platforms.

LOCATION

  • This position will be based on site at our Newport Beach, CA office. Remote work is not available for this role.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Develop automated deployment frameworks for Snowflake platform (Infrastructure as a Service).
  • Integrate Terraform with the Snowflake platform.
  • Role Based Access Control (RBAC) framework design & Snowflake platform support for customer pursuit of SOX compliance. This includes auditing and monitoring of network policies, service accounts and user management.
  • Implement data security, approve authentication and privacy through DIA platforms.
  • Provide critical support in ensuring the current and future state Customer Data Platform aligns with the DIA strategic architecture.
  • Create detailed design documents based on solutions designs and work with internal and external teams to implement.
  • Provide technical inputs and leadership into the maturation of Chipotle’s data management platforms.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE TABLE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, Finance, or Statistics preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience with Snowflake, managing data governance and security including Role Based Access Controls, Authentication and Monitoring.
  • 3-5 years of experience with customer data platforms like Amperity, Microsoft or others is ideal.
  • Strong understanding ADO, CICD and agile methodologies.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with experience presenting to different levels of leadership related discipline.
  • Solid knowledge of implementing database security, access controls and compliance remediation.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, enterprise environment is a plus.
  • Ability to handle ambiguity and provide technical leadership to improve our processes, patterns and standards.

PAY TRANSPARENCY

A reasonable estimate of the current base pay range for this position is $99,000.00–$135,000.00. You are also eligible for annual cash bonuses and equity awards based upon performance and other factors. Actual compensation offered may vary depending on skill level, experience, and/or education.
