Summary of Position: Under the direction of the Partnership’s Executive Vice President, the Research & Policy Associate will support the Research & Policy team and work closely with the President’s Office, and then Government Affairs and Communications departments to develop innovative — yet practical — solutions to policy issues that impact the economy of the five boroughs of New York City, New York state, and the metropolitan region.

Responsibilities
- Track and analyze demographic and economic data across a wide range of measures
- Synthesize research and analysis for dissemination across varied stakeholders
- Lead the development of regular online data reporting
- Assist with composition of reports, briefing materials, and publications
- Bachelor’s degree is preferred with concentration in, or equivalent experience in, economics, public policy, statistics or related quantitative field
- Demonstrated quantitative and qualitative research skills, with experience working with government data sets
- Experience in data visualization
- Strong writing skills and ability to communicate research findings and technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
- Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
- Comfortable managing multiple tasks dealing with diverse topics
- Interest in New York City, state, and federal public policy
- Commitment to New York City and the Partnership’s mission
