Our client, a next-generation high-tech marketing company has an immediate need for a Systems Administrator for an onsite opportunity in Las Vegas, NV.

Working under the guidance of the IT, Engineering, and Operations teams, the Systems Administrator will be responsible for delivering desktop support to both in-office and remote staff across the company. Additionally, this role will manage and oversee access to company systems, networks, and applications, ensuring seamless and secure operation for all users.

This role reports to the IT Manager and collaborates with a global team of System, Security, and DevOps Engineers.

The typical work schedule is Monday through Friday between 8:00am to 5:00pm.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Execute on-boarding and off-boarding procedures for staff equipment and system access.
  • Assist staff of 50 employees with hardware and software ("desktop support") issues.
  • Support conference room and remote meeting audio-visual requirements.
  • Manage building-wide video display system.
  • Provision new desktop, laptop, and mobile hardware and ship to users or for vendor repairs as needed.
  • Maintain asset management systems and ensure accuracy of assets through auditing.
  • Assist with the management of on-premise network, server, and storage infrastructure.
  • Ensure company data retention policy is enforced and device backups are up-to-date.
  • Provide support with building access.
  • Manage and execute hardware refresh policy.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a similar
  • 2-4 years proven work experience as a Systems Administrator, Desktop Support Specialist, or similar role.
  • Detailed technical knowledge of MacOS, Android, and iOS systems.
  • Familiarity with Linux (Debian and Ubuntu) on the command line.
  • Experience with BASH and Python scripting
  • Experience in provisioning and maintaining enterprise server infrastructure.
  • Hands-on experience with enterprise systems, including:
    • Networking experience with routers, gateways, firewalls etc
    • Enterprise storage
    • Identity and access management
    • Log management
    • WAPs
  • Experience with troubleshooting networking technologies with system and network monitoring tools.
  • Understanding of information security principles and techniques.
  • Familiarity with web-related technologies (Web Applications, Web Services, Service Oriented Architectures) and network/web-related protocols.
  • One or more of the following certifications preferred:
    • Network+
    • Security+
    • Practitioner level or higher AWS certification
