As a Structural Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and analyzing structures, ensuring their safety and stability, and providing solutions to complex problems. You will work on a variety of projects, ranging from small renovations to large commercial buildings, and will be expected to provide hands-on engineering support and mentorship to junior engineers.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Structural Engineer to join our team. As a Structural Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and analyzing structures, ensuring their safety and stability, and providing solutions to complex problems. You will work on a variety of projects, ranging from small renovations to large commercial buildings, and will be expected to provide hands-on engineering support and mentorship to junior engineers.
Responsibilities:
- Design and analyze structures to ensure their safety, stability, and compliance with building codes and regulations.
- Develop and implement solutions to complex structural problems, using advanced analytical and modeling techniques.
- Work closely with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure that structural designs are integrated with the overall building envelope.
- Provide hands-on engineering support during construction, including site visits, inspections, and testing.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide guidance on technical issues, project management, and professional development.
- Collaborate with other disciplines, such as mechanical and electrical engineers, to ensure that all aspects of building design are integrated and coordinated.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies, and apply this knowledge to improve our engineering processes and deliverables.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering or a related field.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain is required.
- 5+ years of experience in structural engineering, with a focus on building design and analysis.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop and implement creative solutions to complex problems.
- Experience with building envelope design and analysis, including the integration of structural, mechanical, and electrical systems.
- Hands-on engineering experience, including site visits, inspections, and testing.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
- Demonstrated leadership skills, with the ability to mentor and guide junior engineers.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
