Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in private equity transactions including acquisitions, divestitures, mergers, and joint ventures.
- Advise on fund formation, investment structures, and strategic business transactions.
- Work closely with private equity funds, independent sponsors, and financial institutions.
- Collaborate with teams across the firm to deliver innovative solutions and seamless legal service.
- Engage in all phases of complex transactions from diligence through closing.
- Provide strategic advice to a diverse client base with a focus on business outcomes.
- Contribute to the development of the practice and participate in firm initiatives.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of transactional experience in private equity or M&A.
- JD from an accredited law school.
- Strong background in handling corporate transactions for both public and private companies.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple matters efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to delivering exceptional client service and advancing within a partnership track.
- Admission to the New York Bar required.
