Job Definition: The SAP EDI & Integration Analyst is responsible for managing and optimizing the EDI and cXML business processes from end-to-end, and connections to managed vendor portals like Ariba. Working with our partners, they will lead the SAP EDI & Integration implementation projects, projects to extend and optimize communications, ensure continuous and accurate flow of information within their domain, and provide ongoing support for existing electronic communication. Responsibilities: Communicate, design, build in conjunction with our EDI partner, test, and implement EDI messages between customers, vendors, banks, and other 3rd parties. Provide ongoing support of existing ongoing electronic communication processes. Work with business users to optimize EDI processes, utilizing IDOCs, cXML, EDI X12, and other interchange protocols. Demonstrate very strong expertise of SAP orders, delivery, shipments, invoices, payments, chargebacks, and rebate functionality. Interface with SAP functional team, EDI Partner, SAP Integration Suite Analyst, offshore SAP developers, and business process Super Users to deliver end to end electronic communication functionality. Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize electronic communication process improvement initiatives. Design and implement electronic communication process solutions, working with business and SAP functional teammates. Validate that the application requirements meet overall business process needs, are within the project scope, and are internally consistent. Follow BDI best practices methodology to ensure electronic communication optimization. Qualifications: Minimum of high school degree or equivalent. Minimum 5 years' experience in SAP EDI inbound and outbound interface functionality, and developing and supporting interfaces for different business processes, especially in SD & LE, AR & AP Finance areas. In depth experience with SAP and EDI error handling best practices Working knowledge of cXML Ability to define and communicate the "big picture" in terms of the overall integration solutions Demonstrate excellent communication skills both verbal and written, as well as professionalism working with business partners. Ability to demonstrate strong team working abilities and commitment. Self-motivated, detail oriented, and highly organized Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in business administration or related Experience with SAP Integration Suite strongly preferred

BDI is currently running SAP ECC 6 and has not yet started planning the transition to S/4HANA. They have a lot of work to do in their SAP system, including data cleanup and process customization, before they can start planning the S/4HANA implementation, which they expect to begin in 2026. The company recently replaced their old PIPO system with SAP Integration Suite, and they are looking for someone with expertise in this new system. The candidate for the open role would need to be proficient in handling common EDI transactions like inbound/outbound orders, invoicing, ASNs, and purchase order confirmations. Experience with cXML and SAP Integration Suite would be a significant advantage for this role. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and vendors Project management abilities to handle EDI implementation projects from start to finish Collaboration and teamwork skills to work with the internal team, including the project manager Adaptability and problem-solving skills to handle various EDI transactions and troubleshoot issues Customer service orientation to provide a positive experience for customers and vendors- they have one person currently doing this but they feel like his communication skills and people skills aren't up to par enough to be customer facing This is an urgent role for them due to it holding up EDI projects
