SQL/Python Architect who can double up as Developer

Key Requirements:
Extensive experience in PL / SQL, stored procedures & functions
Cloud Experience
Good understanding of ETL, Data analysis & Data Modeling

What You'll Do:
Our Tech Language Office partners closely with Enterprise Architecture, Developer Experience, Infrastructure, and Product Delivery teams on all aspects of our core programming languages. They provide development teams with stable and current language platforms for developing modern applications.
You ll join an entire TLO team that focuses on enabling and increasing developer capabilities of our language platforms through innovation, research, tools, standards, reusability, automation, mentoring and training.

Responsibilities will include:
Actively mentor and train associates on technologies and tools
Participate in cross functional groups across the division and firm to continually advance the firm's technology solutions and take our systems to the next level
Creating reusable Python libraries and frameworks to be used by developers' firm-wide
Working with devops engineers to implement CI/CD pipelines for promotion of Python code
Create documentation including best practices for stability, monitoring and observability of Python code using tools like Splunk, Dynatrace, Grafana, etc.
Assist with packaging and distributing Python software and tools
Proactively seek process and technical improvements and take the initiative to communicate and implement solutions
Perform root cause analysis to be able to resolve system stability and performance issues.
Assist with general support of the Python environment.

What Experience You Need:
15+ years of experience working across multiple technology areas
10+ years of experience with relevant Python experience
ADLS & Databricks experience
Cloud experience is preferred
Understanding of Python Frameworks and familiarity with Python Libraries
Experience writing libraries for use by other developers
Experience with Devops engineering and tools like Github, Jenkins, Sonarqube, Coverity
Experience with working with and governance of internal pypi using artifactory or other code repos
Experience with Container environments on-prem and on cloud (Kubernetes, AKS, etc.).
Experience with monitoring tools like Splunk, Grafana, ELK, AppDynamics, etc.
