Join our team as a Structural Engineer with expertise in Navy applications. Lead the design and development of structural systems for shipbuilding and defense projects. Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $112,800.00 to $257,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. Basic Qualifications:
- 15+ years of experience with the engineering of structures
- Experience with structural designs in the Navy or defense systems, including relevant engineering experience related to R&D, T&E, and systems acquisition programs for Navy shipbuilding and defense systems
- Experience working in a multi-disciplinary team consisting of systems engineers, electrical and electronics engineers, acquisition professionals, and logistics and sustainment professionals to achieve program outcomes
- Knowledge of naval vessel structural design specifications, standards, and practices
- Ability to analyze mechanical designs through review of design artifacts
- Top Secret clearance
- Master's degree in Engineering
- Professional Engineer Certification
Additional Qualifications:
- Knowledge of Navy acquisition processes
- Possession of strong written and verbal te chn ical communication skills
- Master's degree in Structural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Civil Engineering
