This is a hybrid role in Chicago with an office in the Loop. This Director of Engineering will oversee roughly 20 Software Engineers across 5 teams. The technology stack includes Java, Kotlin, Python, Ruby, and AWS technologies.

Required Skills & Experience
  • BS or MS in Computer Science or another related field
  • 7+ years of experience with hands-on engineering experience with Java, Kotlin, Python, or Ruby
  • 3+ years of experience with technologies like Spring Boot, AWS, Terraform, CircleCI
  • 3+ years of experience leading multiple engineering teams in a SaaS environment
Desired Skills & Experience
  • Experience scaling engineering organizations with an agile methodology
  • Experience working with distributed teams across different time zones
  • Knowledge of security best practices for SaaS aplications
