Job Details

A top HVAC distributor in the Western U.S. is seeking a motivated Territory Sales Engineer in Salt Lake City. If you're technically savvy, great with customers, and love solving HVAC challenges, this role is for you. Join a company known for fast delivery, deep inventory, and full-spectrum support across residential, commercial, and industrial markets.

Responsibilities:
  • Work with engineers, contractors, and building owners to design and sell commercial HVAC systems
  • Perform job take-offs, develop quotes, and provide application and design support
  • Deliver technical presentations and training sessions, both virtually and in person
  • Troubleshoot system issues and provide on-site support when needed
  • Promote leading-edge products and technologies to clients through meetings, lunch & learns, and demos
  • Hunt for new business opportunities while expanding relationships with existing customers
  • Engage with professional industry groups such as ASHRAE, USGBC, BOMA, and IFMA

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, or construction-related engineering (preferred)
  • 1-5 years of experience in HVAC sales, design, or applications
  • Passion for customer service and problem-solving
  • Confident communicator with a polished, professional presentation style
  • Tech-savvy and eager to stay up to date on industry advancements
