We are looking for an experienced Audio/Visual Technician to join our team in Des Plaines, Illinois. In this long-term contract role, you will play a key part in supporting and maintaining audio-visual systems, computer-based technologies, and classroom equipment. Responsibilities:

Coordinate and install new media technologies, including classroom systems, audio-visual equipment, and video conferencing tools.

Set up and test cables, cameras, and other hardware while documenting installation procedures for future reference.

Provide technical support for streaming video, digital projection systems, and computer-controlled classroom technologies.

Diagnose and repair audio-visual equipment and related systems to ensure optimal functionality.

Assist users with media technologies, offering real-time troubleshooting to resolve technical issues.

Maintain and configure wireless microphones, projectors, and other audio equipment.

Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless integration of new technologies.

Develop and maintain documentation for installations, configurations, and troubleshooting processes.

Test and backup systems to ensure reliability and performance.

Stay updated on advancements in audio-visual and computer hardware technologies.

Requirements

Proficiency in computer hardware and related technologies.
Experience working with Mac computers and Apple devices.
Familiarity with backup technologies and cable installation.
Skilled in handling audio equipment, including microphones and wireless systems.
Knowledge of streaming video platforms and digital projectors.
Strong troubleshooting skills for diagnosing and resolving technical issues.
Ability to document installation procedures and technical configurations.
Experience with classroom and conference-based media systems.
