Senior Engineering Technician III (Server Administration): Contract - URGENT:

The Engineering Tech III (SERVER ADMIN) responsibilities will provide day to day SCADA operations support requiring diagnostic knowledge and experience to troubleshoot SCADA software/hardware and process control applications with specialized areas of SCADA including client / server applications, system administration, security controls, Oracle and other database systems, and server hardware and software. This position requires a competence ability to investigate, analyze and resolve SCADA Windows server & desktop application and operating system problems; including hands-on experience in server management and best practices.

In this position the Engineering Tech III will also work closely with the IT and project management teams, and SCADA network/security team members to maintain a secure and property working SCADA network. MUST HAVE: The Engineering Tech III will need to have experience with Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate or MCSE certification or MCSA certification.

The hiring manager is asking for the candidate to have 4+years of experience working with Industrial Control System(ICS) and 6+ years with Servers Administration.

Experience Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or general education development test (GED), and two years of accredited college or university in engineering and eight years of relevant experience, two years of which must have been at the Engineering Technician III level.
  • INTERMEDIATE KNOWLEDGE: SEE SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS (Required).
  • KNOWLEDGE IN PROCESSING: SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS (Required).
  • Ability to set up and maintain Microsoft SCCM, WSUS and other Windows COTS applications Develop and maintain images.
  • Configure an operating-system deployment strategy using SCCM Configuration Manager Perform the administration and management of Windows and Linux based SCADA Infrastructure Maintain software updates for Windows PCs managed by Configuration Manager Develop.
  • Maintain images and configure an operating-system deployment strategy using SCCM Configuration Manager Maintain Configuration Manager client.
  • Personable, Team Player, Flexible, Multitask and handles pressure well.
  • Detail orient, Organized, Strong Written and Verbal Communication skills a must.
  • Valid CA driver license If selected Defensive Driver Certification is required by vendor.
  • Local Candidates (So California)
