Embedded Software Engineer

Piper Companies is seeking a motivated Embedded Software Engineer to join our client's team in Research Triangle Park (RTP), North Carolina. This role is with a large technology company, offering an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in testing and debugging embedded software. The Embedded Software Engineer must be eligible to work in the United States without the need for employment sponsorship and will be required to work onsite on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Responsibilities for the Embedded Software Engineer:

• Develop and maintain embedded software for various applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and test embedded systems.
• Debug and troubleshoot software and hardware issues.
• Assist in the development of technical documentation and specifications.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications for the Embedded Software Engineer:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of embedded systems and microcontroller programming.
• 1+ years of experience as an Embedded Software Engineer.
• Proficiency in C/C++ programming languages.
• Familiarity with debugging tools and techniques.
• Experience with device drivers is ideal, but not required.

Compensation for the Embedded Software Engineer:

• Salary: $60,000 to $75,000, depending on experience.
• Full comprehensive health benefits.
