Epicor ERP Supervisor/Manager
Job Description:
The Epicor ERP Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and managing the Epicor ERP system and its support team. This role requires a strong understanding of Epicor ERP functionality, business processes, and project management principles. The supervisor will be responsible for leading and mentoring the support team, ensuring efficient and effective resolution of user issues, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities
Support Management:
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Epicor ERP support function.
Manage and prioritize support tickets and incidents.
Monitor system performance and identify potential issues.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical problems.
Provide timely and effective support to end-users
Process Improvement:
Identify opportunities for process improvement and streamline workflows.
Implement best practices and standards to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their needs and requirements.
Project Management:
Manage Epicor ERP implementation and upgrade projects.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
Monitor project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
Team Leadership:
Lead and manage a team of Epicor ERP support specialists.
Hire, train, and develop team members to ensure optimal performance and skillset development.
Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
7+ years of experience with Epicor ERP, including configuration, customization, and support.
Experience with project management methodologies.
Knowledge of SQL and reporting tools.
Additional Preferred Qualifications
Epicor ERP certifications
Experience with ERP implementation and upgrade projects.
Experience with data migration and integration.
