Title: Compliance Administrator

Contract Length: 1 year ongoing, with potential for conversion if/when headcount becomes available.

Location: Fully remote, with the requirement to work Eastern Standard Time (EST) hours.

The Compliance Administrator (Manager) identifies functions and business practices requiring compliance activities. The compliance administrator oversees and manages Our Company Online compliance program. They also work to ensure that company policies and procedures are being followed, and that behavior in the organization meets the company standards.

Compliance Administrator Job Duties:

  • Complies with SOX, PCI DSS, ISMS, MLPS and Internal policies by studying existing and new regulatory requirements and policies; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions.
  • Prepares compliance audit data by compiling and analyzing internal and external information.
  • Supports departments by collecting and coordinating internal compliance data with auditors and various departments.
  • Provides administrative support by implementing systems, procedures, and policies; completing projects in support of compliance efforts.
  • Complies with regulatory requirements by studying existing and new policy; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions.
  • Enhances compliance department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
  • Evaluate prospective new partners and engagements & provide risk value & observations
  • Assist team with day-to-day IT tasks during periods of high volume/travel.
  • Participate in engineering meetings to ensure solutions are meeting corporate and public compliance standards.

Compliance Administrator Skills and Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of IT Security Compliance.
  • Previous Experience in governance and compliance projects revolving around PCI, SOX, ISMS & MLPS
  • Basic administration on Linux and Windows systems. Prospect needs to be comfortable at command line, Moves/adds/deletes of files/ folders etc
  • Previous Networking experience (switching/routing)
  • Knowledge of Firewalls & experienced in debugging security issues
  • Methodical troubleshooting & ability to think “out-of-the-box”
  • Have the ability to create solutions & present them in an organized, tiered manner
  • Must have a solid understanding of TCP/IP. Previous cisco experience a plus.
  • Previous computer systems auditing experience a plus
  • Strong documentation and organizational Skills
  • Candidate must be a team player and display a collaborative approach
  • Candidate must have a “pro-active” personality & take on initiatives
  • Conceptual thinker. Has the ability to think out of the box & lead results
  • Bachelor’s degree or will accept equivalent job experience
