Social Media Beauty Specialist
Location: Downtown Los Angeles (Part-Time, On-Site)
Starting Pay: $23/hour
Dominique Cosmetics is seeking a highly creative and strategic Social Media Specialist with preferred experience in the beauty industry. This role is ideal for someone who understands the intersection of luxury content, digital growth, and performance marketing.
You should have a track record of growing platforms, creating high-end content, and leveraging data to drive results. A strong eye for design and fluency in tools like Adobe Creative Suite are essential, along with experience managing Meta and TikTok ad campaigns.
Key Responsibilities
Platform Growth
- Develop and execute social strategies that drive audience growth, engagement, and conversion across Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube
- Identify opportunities for community expansion and content optimization based on trends and analytics
Content Creation & Execution
- Produce premium-quality content, from concept to edit, that reflects our brand aesthetic and speaks to our audience
- Design, film, and edit assets for posts, reels, stories, and short-form video
Community Engagement
- Monitor and respond to DMs and comments in a tone that reflects the Dominique voice—warm, elevated, and informed
- Cultivate relationships with creators, influencers, and brand fans
Ad Strategy & Metrics
- Assist in the creation and management of Meta and TikTok ad campaigns
- Monitor performance, analyze metrics, and suggest actionable improvements to content and targeting
Trend Research & Innovation
- Stay informed on beauty, cultural, and platform trends to keep content relevant and fresh
- Present ideas for campaigns, collabs, and real-time social opportunities
Qualifications
- 1–2 years experience managing social for a beauty or cosmetics brand
- Deep understanding of beauty audiences, aesthetics, and product storytelling
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Premiere, Illustrator, Lightroom)
- Experience creating, managing, and analyzing Meta and TikTok ads
- Strong analytical mindset; comfortable using data to guide creative decisions
- Excellent communication, time management, and multitasking skills
