Overview:

As a Scrum Master, you’ll play a crucial role in driving the success of a multi-year initiative aimed at modernizing the reservation system for a cruise line. You’ll lead scrum ceremonies, ensure sprint readiness, and support product teams through the agile development process. The ideal candidate will have experience facilitating agile teams, managing Jira workflows, and overseeing the delivery of high-quality software releases.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Agile Leadership: Lead scrum ceremonies (standups, planning, retrospectives, backlog refinement) for multiple teams, ensuring alignment with project goals.
  • Jira & Backlog Management: Facilitate sprint planning and monitor Jira boards for healthy backlogs, ensuring stories meet acceptance criteria and are ready for delivery.
  • Release Management: Oversee release planning, regression testing, and deployments, ensuring smooth delivery of product updates and bug fixes.
  • Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with product owners and engineering teams to ensure clear communication, track progress, and resolve blockers.
  • Product Support: Assist in managing product health, triaging production bugs, and prioritizing issues with the product team.
  • Metrics & Reporting: Track sprint progress, product health, and delivery metrics, providing regular reports to leadership.

Required Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience as a Scrum Master in an agile environment, facilitating team ceremonies and managing sprint cycles.
  • Proficiency in Jira for backlog management, sprint tracking, and reporting.
  • Experience with release management, including coordinating deployments and ensuring release readiness.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated leadership ability, capable of guiding teams through complex technical challenges.

Preferred Qualifications:
