Supply Chain Manager
We're proud to partner with Palomar Products, a TransDigm business with over 45 years in secure communications for Defense and Aerospace. We are looking for a driven Supply Chain Manager who can lead SIOP implementation for effective materials management and help to enhance supplier quality and ensure on-time delivery!
Compensation and Benefits of the Supply Chain Manager:
- $130,000-$150,000 Base Salary
- Amazing company culture with a great work-life balance, with a 9/80 schedule (every other Friday off) and 1-day WFH
- An opportunity to progress directly into a VP of Operations not just in their business but also through their sister TransDigm companies - 50 Aerospace & Defense business units
Key Responsibilities of the Supply Chain Manager:
- Develop and execute procurement and supply chain strategies to meet business objectives
- Drive cost reduction, quality improvement, and lead-time optimization
- Manage $20M+ annual spend, ensuring productivity and efficiency
- Oversee supplier relationships, conducting periodic assessments and qualification.
- Align supply chain operations with financial and revenue targets.
- Maintain optimal inventory levels and resolve discrepancies.
- Implement risk management, disaster recovery, and business continuity plans.
- Ensure compliance with trade regulations and corporate policies.
- Approve purchase orders, change notices, and manage supplier negotiations.
- Oversee inventory management, including familiarity with excess/obsolescence, consignment, turnkey etc.
Qualifications for the Supply Chain Manager:
- BS in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, or equivalent field. MBA preferred with over 10+ years of progressive experience working in an operation, purchasing, and/or supply chain environment.
- Strong knowledge of ERP systems & Lean Enterprise Systems (Syteline is a plus).
- Experience in Electronic Manufacturing in government contracting environment.
- Knowledge of Lean Enterprise Systems.
- APICS CSCP (or CPIM) preferred
