TEKsystems is looking for a Windows Administrator in Lubbock to join a team for a long term contract supporting a specialized server for a local utility company!
The candidate should have administration experience with different versions of Windows Server; 2016 and above would be preferred. Windows 10/11 support would be very helpful as well. In addition, PowerShell scripting would be nice, but not required. Active Directory would be strongly preferred as well in addition to Group policy management (how to do some group policies within Windows), would be fantastic experience. Experience with change management within ServiceNow. Experience with Jira and an agile environment is strongly preferred. Looking for candidates that have any ADMS experience, this is not the most common but would be very nice to have. Also, previous distribution power experience is helpful, but not required.
Generally, resources will work 8-5 M-F/40 hours per week. Might be required to work night hours. There is an on-call schedule, once a month for a week at a time. These resources may be added to this schedule after about 6 months if proficient.
The interview process is a two step process, the first being a Teams call with the hiring manager and the second being a panel interview with the team. Apply now!
