Role Summary: The role involves preparing and working on marketing research initiatives.

Experience Requirements:

  • Fairly senior-level position requiring 7+ years of experience, ideally on the compliance and global side.
  • Background in consumer-packaged goods and healthcare is a plus.
  • Familiarity with supplier-side work including test invocation, forecasting, and testing processes is helpful.
  • We are a part of the strategic insights team within Client Nutrition. While we don’t focus on statistical analysis, our work centers around delivering marketing insights to support products with the marketing team.

Day in the Life:

  • Collaborate with marketing and global marketing teams to define business questions and research perspectives.
  • Prepare and send out research briefs to market research agencies; assist with drafting and finalizing research scope, sample size, and target area.
  • Align efforts with both global and internal clients as well as research suppliers.
  • Handle administrative tasks such as setting up POs, budgeting, and coordinating with suppliers through execution.
  • Assist with preparing questionnaires, managing execution timelines, and ensuring research is carried out effectively.
  • Ensure concepts are consumer-friendly and contribute to all facets of marketing projects.
  • Verify translations and coordinate fieldwork as required.
  • Present insights to executive leadership and work closely with the market research team to translate data into strategic recommendations.

Top Skills:

  • Strong primary market research experience.
  • Proficiency in both qualitative and quantitative research.
  • Experience across all phases of market research, preferably on the client side rather than the supplier side.

Work Schedule:

  • 6-month contract.
  • Approximately 30 hours per week, around 3 days a week (flexibility on specific days is possible and can be discussed).

Preferred Background:

  • PhD with a focus in marketing research is ideal and will work.
  • HCP (Healthcare Professional) insights experience is a nice-to-have.

Note on Overqualification:

  • No concerns with overqualified candidates; strong market research experience is essential.
  • Important to note this is a market research role—not a marketing role.
