This role offers valuable exposure to office-based ENT procedures and direct patient care. The Medical Assistant will work closely with the physician and office manager and become an integral part of the patient care experience.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Medical Assistant located in midtown in New York, NY. The Medical Assistant will be responsible for assisting with office-based procedures, interacting with patients, managing electronic medical records, and performing administrative tasks in a medical office. Day-to-day tasks may include taking vital signs, preparing patients for examinations, updating patient records, and ensuring the smooth operation between the patients and the practice.

Qualifications

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with healthcare software
  • Prior experience in either Medical Assisting, Customer or Patient Care, or Hospitality
  • Certification from an accredited Medical Assistant program is a plus
  • Motivated and detail-oriented with an eagerness to learn
