Required Skills & Experience
5+ years of experience in network engineering roles
Strong expertise in routing and switching (BGP, OSPF, VLANs, STP)
Hardcore familiarity with Fortinet firewalls (FortiGate, FortiManager, etc.)
Solid knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, NAT, and VPN technologies
Basic-to-intermediate experience with Linux OS administration (RedHat, Ubuntu, or similar)
Ability to work in a hybrid capacity with occasional onsite client visits in the Bay Area
Desired Skills & Experience
Experience with Cisco and/or Meraki hardware
Scripting or automation experience (Bash, Python, or Ansible)
Exposure to cloud networking (AWS or Azure VNETs, VPNs, etc.)
Fortinet NSE certifications or similar vendor-specific credentials
Background in managed services or consulting environments
