Description: Our client is currently seeking a Senior Data Engineer

Position Summary

The Engineer is responsible for achieving key milestones in Customer Platform/Customer Data Acceleration, focusing on the new Customer Platform Analytics system in Databricks. This role involves leading and participating in the technical design process, completing estimates, work plans, and ensuring high-quality deliverables in accordance with standards. The Engineer continuously strives to improve software delivery processes and practices, embodying the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and participate in the design and implementation of large and architecturally significant applications.
• Champion company standards and best practices, continuously improving software delivery processes and practices.
• Build partnerships across application, business, and infrastructure teams.
• Set up new customer data platforms from Netezza to Databricks.
• Independently complete estimates and work plans for design, development, implementation, and rollout tasks.
• Communicate with appropriate teams to ensure assignments are managed and completed with the highest quality.
• Support and maintain applications using required tools and technologies.
• May direct the day-to-day work activities of other team members.
• Perform essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Work quickly with the team to implement new platforms.
• Be onsite with the development team when necessary.
